Damage & Repair Survey

A survey to establish damage following an incident and any reasonable mitigation against further damage, bearing in mind that it is the insured's obligation to take such steps that are reasonable in the circumstance to limit the extent of the damage.

The surveyor, if required, will review the proposed repairs, and attend to witness and report these repairs.  Repairs should not start prior to the agreement of the repair procedure with the yard and insurer.
